Comment: Ordered these for a friend so they could use with the Day Whitening Kit and they're pretty naff, would advise that you pay the extra and get a dentist to make a proper fitting set.

Comment: I ordered the Opalescence 35% and 3 D.I.Y trays in a package all together and while the whitening gel was as described, the trays were a great disappointment. I wasn't sure what to expect and from the other reviews I had read I figured that perhaps I should try it out on my own and not go by others opinion. The trays are very thick acrylic that doesn't mold to your teeth as you would think they do, even by following step by step instructions. Very poor quality trays and not good for using with whitening gel. Playing football, perhaps. Ive decided to invest money in a professional dental trays instead.

Summary: Simple to Use.
Comment: Unlike most of the reviews, mine is VERY positive. These do the job. Be sure to follow the directions and trim away excess pieces witha a sharp pair of scissors and you should have no problems.
Of course, at that price, I wasn't expecting anything extra special, but I did well with this product. Just be sure to read the directions..(which happen to be in about 8 different languages) :]

Directions-
PREFITTING PROCEDURE: Place one tray in your mouth placing on your upper teeth. Practice sucking the air from the tray. This is the procedure you will use when you retrieve the trays from the boiling water to contour the tray to the inside surface of your teeth. Do the same procedure with the other tray with your lower teeth.
BOILING WATER: Boil a pan of water. Remove the water from the heat. Place the tray in the hot water by the tab. Leave in water for 3-4 seconds.
FITTING THE TRAY: Lift the tray from the water using the tab. Quickly place the tray around the teeth and perform the same sucking procedure as practiced with the prefitting procedure. To avoid gel contact with the sensitive tissues of your mouth, take small scissors and/or nail clippers and trim your trays on the gingival line (teeth/gum line).
