Summary: We can't hear it upstairs....
Comment: We really love this product and a package of five is absolutely wonderful. It definitely works. However, we live in a ranch style home and enter the basement through the garage. We can't hear the alarm in our house. We've had a copious amount of rainfall and snow recently, and it seems every time we turn around there's a flood warning. We got a little water in our basement, the alarm went off, but we didn't hear it in the living area of our home. I'd give it 5 stars if we could hear it when it goes off.

Comment: I have used a water alarm by the hot water heater for many years, and it helped prevent damage on two occasions--really invaluable in terms of the damage and aggravation that an unnoticed water leak can create. These used to be hard to find and expensive. This 5-pack provides excellent value, and I now use them all around the house (by the washing machine and under every sink, in addition to the hot water heater) to give me much more peace of mind. Also a great practical gift!

Summary: Nice bundle
Comment: I've always wanted to pick up some of these but they can be expensive by the time you buy one for all of the areas that need one. The sensors that I've looked at all seem the roughly the same and there is not much to them. This unit works well based on a test I did and the alarm would definitely be heard on other floors. I still need a few more sensors and will probably buy another one of these 5 packs.

Comment: I have a Reverse Osmosis drinking water filter system under my kitchen sink with a pressure booster motor. The booster motor developed a small leak and went unnoticed for a long time. The standing water caused a lot of damage. I repaired the motor leak and installed these water alarm sensors. My repair failed two weeks later, and the water alarm signaled the problem saving me another messy cleanup. I have since replaced the motor with a new one and have also placed water sensors under my other sinks, toilets, water heater, and clothes washer.
