Summary: Best Trauma Shears You Can Buy
Comment: Without a doubt these are the best trauma shears you can buy. After many hours of use on the Rescue and in the ER they still out-perform any other pair. Compared to the cheap version that most of us are familiar with, you will be pleasantly surprised. Sharp, smooth, tight - perfect. Well worth the $4. Buy two for when you misplace your first pair. I only wish they had other colors.

Comment: I am comparing this to a no name pair from a local
hardware store, and to the ones I see in hospitals...
Unlike most of the others I've seen this one actually
is sharpened correctly, with no visible burrs or grindlines.
The serrated portion actually goes to the edge, and the fit and finish is much higher than most.
In other words ya get what ya pay for.
