Comment: I have had my glass GE cooktop for one year now (which I love), and the Cerama Bryte that came with it really works well. They recommend that you scrape off any large amounts of burnt-on residues with a straight-edge blade, which makes the whole cleaning process faster. I use a multi-surface/ glass cleaner after scraping (if scraping is necessary) to get rid of water soluble residues, then use the Cerama Bryte and polish with a clean dry paper towel. It is the only way to reliably get rid of those greasy smears that linger after you use anything else, and it also gets rid of any stubborn burnt stuff that remains after the preliminary scraping. The cooktop absolutely looks like new afterwards.

Comment: This stuff came with my new stove/oven when I bought my house last year. I'm almost out, so came here to buy some more and out of curiousity, checked the reviews, since it wasn't 5 stars. From my experience, it's very simple and easy to use, and my stove-top (glass/ceramic) still looks brand new and there have been boil overs of water and all kinds of food splashes burned onto it. Absolutely works perfect and really have to wonder, as the other person below alludes to, what in the hek is jhunter talking about? -- unless he/she has a regular metal stove-top and not the glass type. Anyway, if you have a glass top/ceramic, this product will take care of your messes/stains, no problem.

Comment: I have the glass top stove and have tried everything to get spills and brown stains from food off the flat surface. Nothing worked until I tried Ceramabryte. It works quickly and easily. Buy it, you won't regret it.

Summary: Works great for day-to-day
Comment: If you are just looking for a product to clean your ceramic stovetop on a daily or bi daily basis, then this is your product. However, if you really need a great cleanser, this one won't do the job. I had no idea how to take care of a ceramic cooktop and thus mine looks horrendous. The gal below, Jackie, has the only solution I've found that works on that type of hideous stain. The Mr. Clean eraser, bar keepers friend cleanser, with a Windex chaser really does an amazing job. This product is great for a light problem, but if you're really looking for something to deep clean, then try the Mr. Clean/Cleanser option.

Comment: I had some impossible to remove stains on my black stovetop and Cerama Bryte removed them on the first try! Kind of like car wax, it takes some elbow grease to put on but the results are excellent.
