Comment: When the filter needs replacement, expect the water to flow very slowly from the dispenser. This item is very easy to install in the fridge. Make sure you do not accidentally throw away the end piece that is actually a part of your fridge, not the filter.

The Whirlpool PUR Advanced Water Filter 4396710 fits Whirlpool and Kenmore refrigerators with a "push-button" style filter in the grille at the base of the fridge. It also replaces filter part numbers 4396710, 46-9020, 9020, and T1RFWB2. It does not replace the more common "quarter-turn" style filter. It improves the taste and odor of the water and reduces the following impurities: Total trihalomethanes (TTHMs), MTBE, Lead, Chlorine taste and odor, Sediment, Cysts, Turbidity, o-Dichlorobenzene, Benzene. It Does Not Remove Flouride. PUR recommends that you replace the filter Every 6 months OR If you notice a decrease in the flow of water.
