Customer Rating: Summary: Please use adult supervision Comment: These magnets are unbelievably strong. When I opened the package they literally jumped out of my hand and pinched my other hand. The magnetic field is so strong it is almost visible. (not really) Please be cautious around children I'd hate to see what happens if one or two were ingested. They will also RUIN a television or monitor in short order trust me please. Just don't go there. These aren't just powerfull magnets. They are amazing. I'm going to buy more. Everybody gets rare earth magnets for Christmas 08. The countersunk ones are great for hanging tools, pictures, door latches on cabinets etc. Refrigerators. Fingernails required.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Magnets Comment: Great magnets for the price. These magnets are very powerful. They were used for a craft project. We placed them on the back of small dolls and put them on the fridge. They were able hold up about 4 pieces of paper. We are very happy with this product.
Customer Rating: Summary: Really Strong Magnets Comment: They are small but very strong. You get 50 pieces for less than 10 bucks. Nice for little projects and to toy around. Just not for very little kids who love to put things in their mouth. If you use it as a refrigerator magnet, one alone can hold a few pieces of paper. The mere size would make it hard to find when it fall down and also a difficult to remove with your fingers.
Customer Rating: Summary: FUN! Comment: We purchased the MAGCRAFT magnets for a science fair experiment. Worked wonderfully for the experiment. Our family spent an evening playing with the magnets, just having fun. Definitely a great product for family fun and learning. We made metal objects on the table seem to magically move - to the delight of the 41 year old and the 5 year old!
Customer Rating: Summary: Great for craft projects Comment: Awesome product. Finally Amazon through their partners is making these easy to acquire. The strength makes them great for little arts-and-craft magnet refrigerators or assembling pieces of a project that need to be taken apart for transportation. I'm using them to attach the canopy on an RC airplane so I can easily pull the canopy off to access the battery compartment. A little hot-glue-gun to the plastic canopy and foam, press the magnets in and go. I'm also considering making a build-board with a metal backing and using these magnets to hold balsa pieces in place when gluing instead of using pins. Not sure how well it will work, but 50 of these at this price makes it cost-effective to experiment.

Rare earth magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet currently made. They are amazingly powerful for their size and have innumerable uses. These disc magnets are 0.250 inch (6.4mm) diameter and 0.100 inch (2.5mm) thick. They are magnetized through the thickness. They are composed of grade 40 neodymium iron boron magnetic material and are plated in nickel-copper-nickel for a shiny corrosion resistant finish. Their individual pull force is approximately 2 lbs. Maximum working temperature is 176 F (80 C).
