Comment: This Remington MS3-1000 cordless shaver provided a very close shave and works very well. The feature to cut long hairs is very useful. The shaver is really good value for money. With daily oiling the cutter blades and foils last quite a while.The light weight of the MS3-1000 shaver makes it an easy shaver for those with disabilities as it weighs less than some other shavers I have tried.

Summary: Remington MS-3100 cordless shaver
Comment: Purchased this MS3-1000 cordless shaver to replace later version, the MS3-200. Price/Value scale, it was worth the purchase. Functionally, the 3-1000 is exactly the same as the 3-200 except for absence of red low battery light. Cutting ability is above average. I had Norelco rotaries and was not impressed with them, no matter how I tried to rationalize the purchase. It has been over a decade since I purchase rotary. I just prefer the inline and trimmer. Overall, for the price this model is worth it if not for anything but for its utility value. Simple and straight-forward.

Comment: I have used other types and brands of shavers and have found that this one gives me the best shave.
My previous shaver was just like the MS3-1000, just a older Remington model.
The replacement blades and screens are not cheap and tend to add up,depending how tough your beard is will dictate how often you replace blades and screens.

Summary: A meat grinder!
Comment: The old Remingtons in years past were very good shavers, so I bought this one with confidence. However, after only about a dozen shaves the screeens were already full of holes worn in them. I was very gentle with this shaver and kept it very clean. There's no excuse for such a failure. I threw it away and didn't waste any more of my time with a company that I'm sure would place the blame on me. They fooled me once, and that's the only chance they're getting. For now I'm shaving the old fashioned way with a razor, and will probably continue to. The majority of electric shavers are ridiculously overpriced and are no comparison to the quality of shave you get with a real blade.
