Customer Rating: Summary: welcome home Comment: i think that this is a really good cd and i am glad that i got it. I think that it is worth the money that i paid for it. you will like it to
Customer Rating: Summary: Uplifitng! Comment: I was skeptical at first with this CD. Contemporary Christian isn't something I am interested in at all. But, I like BSB, Brian in particular, and gave it a shot. So glad I did. A couple of these songs wouldn't of sounded out of place on the last BSB album (Over You especially) and some are downright heart wrenching. I have listened to "Gone Without Goodbye" maybe 30 times since I have had this CD in the last couple of days, and it still chokes me up. It is without a doubt, THE most beautiful song ever. "Wish" is another good one. I am glad I checked this album out, and am looking forward to more.
Customer Rating: Summary: Awesome Comment: This album is amazing, Brian has such a wonderful voice that he does so wonderful on all the songs. The best track on the whole album would either be Welcome home or Grace of my Life. He has come such a long way from BSB that he is like a different person. One of the best christian albums of all time. Would recommend it to anyone no matter the age, anyone can get something out of this cd, the message on some of the songs brings tears to your eyes. Buy it you will not regret this purchase, not in the slightest
Customer Rating: Summary: outstanding Comment: I was satisfy with the time the product arrived, 2-3 bussiness days. I love my C.d.; I play it everyday and I don't get tired of it. Thanks Amazon I will be shopping soon.
Customer Rating: Summary: Brian Littrell!!! Comment: I first discovered Brian's album while I was shopping around Amazon for the newest Backstreet Boys CD a year or so ago. At first I was a little skeptical, but then I listened to the album. It's one of my favorites now, full of uplifting lyrics and beautiful melodies, and I like it even more because Brian wrote (or co-wrote) a lot of the songs himself. That's sort of a confirmation for me that he's really serious about what he does and he has a lot of talent, unlike some of the other musical artists out there. I especially like the songs "Gone Without Goodbye" (sad but beautiful), "Alive", "Over My Head", "Grace of My Life" (SO adorable!), and "Angels and Heroes" (really uplifting). This album is definitely worth a good listen or two if you're thinking about buying it. It's worth every minute of your time. I've always liked Brian, but now I like him even more that I've seen what he can really do.

Some Christian mainstream acts spend entire careers aiming for crossover appeal. Call Brian Littrell a little different because he is going against the grain. This Backstreet Boy has traded--for a moment at least--international glitz for a trip back home to his roots, spiritual roots that is, with Welcome Home. It's a journey that clearly resonates strongly with Littrell because he has released an album full of depth, reflection, diversity, and celebration. At least partial credit goes to producer Dan Muckala who has taken a vocal talent, stretched his boundaries, and combined with the artist to usher out a beautifully rich-sounding release. Starting firmly with his proclamation of faith ("My Answer Is You"), Littrell pours his heart and soul into a wonderful collection of material that ranges from hard-edged pop ("I'm Alive") to R&B/light jazz ("We Lift You Up") to classic Southern gospel ("Jesus Loves Me"). Littrell also offers several nods to his Backstreet days with his silky smooth vocals on "You Keep Givin' Me" and "Grace of My Life." There's a lot to be excited about with this release but perhaps two of the highlights come with the gripping "Gone Without Goodbye" and "Angels and Heroes." The former is a heart-wrenching tale of sharing the burden of grief with those who have lost loved ones tragically, while the latter builds on the ministry motif by suggesting that all of us are wired to be angels, if we so choose, in this lifetime. Littrell's transparency of heart and passionate vocals will make believers even out of the most hardened cynic. Welcome home Brian, we're glad you're back. --Michael Lyttle
