Summary: An Entertaining Story But The Ending Will Either Leave You Confused Or Annoyed
Comment: I'm sure most people have read the editorial about the series that's probably the most easiest info you'll get about this series. Yes you have an the future five wolves most likely the last of their kind trying to find their way to what they perceive to be paradise for their kind. Along the way they will find obstacle in the form of a disheartened wolf-hunter with his own tragic past, an evil empire that quests for more power, and an mysterious third person whose true reasons to open paradise won't be known until the very end of the show almost. If you're looking for either an easy to understand ending or happy ending than you'll will be disappointed as this will have neither. The ending leaves it open for either the series producers to continue the series later on or for the person watching to make their own decision about the finale. I have to say for myself though I really did not care for the ending at all I know some anime series have to have the tragic or mysterious ending but for me I'm more of the happy endings where the characters make it though at the end and can rejoice at their victory. The animation is terrific and the voice actors both subbed and dubbed did a great job as well. So all I can say for this series is if you like dramatic,action-packed, and tragic filled animes this is a good one to get but again if you're looking for a ending with a decent closure than you might one to pass this one. Either way a great series at least worth checking out...

Summary: One of my all time favorites
Comment: Not much I can say that hasn't already been said about this masterpiece of an anime. Sure, people get confused by the fact this is only Part 1 of the Complete Collection, but I still loved this anime so much that I didn't mind having to buy both parts. If you don't want to pay list price for this box set (which is easily understandable for those who don't have a lot of money to spare), then you can find it at a lower price easily.

This is still a must have for any anime lover who is also into Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Apocalyptic-world settings.

The characters are very well developed and the plot is creative enough to keep people interested and involved until the end. Fair warning, this is not an anime meant for young children. My niece was very interested in this series, because it is centered around wolves, but I had to stop her from watching it because of its graphic nature (particularly towards the end of the series). For some children this might not be an issue, but it's still something to be aware about if you're looking at buying this as a gift. This probably wouldn't be my first choice as an introduction into anime either because of the complex themes and plot.

Summary: One of the best
Comment: This anime has to be one of my all time faves!!! After reading most of the reviews for this show, I really can't say much more then that they have already, but I must say, getting this show was a must for me. Most people don't like the fact that it's in two parts, but to tell you the truth, it's cheeper in the long run getting the collection I and II. I looked up the price for the box set and it was $129.99 where the two collections added up for just over $70 (with Shipping and handling just over $75). Granted you don't get the nice odd shaped box, CD or each DVD in there own case, but to have all of the episodes in DVD to watch again and again, it's a great buy (and the fact that I already have both CD's (YAY for living in Japan) might have helped me make up my mind to buy the two collections over the box set) but also taking into account that the Soundtrack can be bought for $15 alone still not making the 129.99 price of the box set worth it to me. I just can't see how a box and a few DVD cases can add up to $45 in worth. So yes, in the long run, getting the two collections are a better buy over the box set.

Summary: Wolf's Rain Collection oneI put
Comment: I put off buying this one, becasue I kept hoping Cartoon Network would rerun it. They haven't. So I bought it so I could see it again. I didn't realize how much I had forgotten or hadn't notice it. There are so many characters it seems like every English voice actor I am used to hearing, had a part on this one.
A make shift pack of wolves follow the scent of the luna flower maiden to find paradise. The pack has no real leader, but Kiba's vision and desire to find paradise is so strong he pulls Tsume, Toboe and Hige along with him.
One point when viewing the DVD, if you wish you can skip the fourth DVD, its basically a summary of the first three episodes. It must the opeaner for the second season.
