Comment: It didn't last as long as I'd have liked. But worked as well as any of the other ones.
Once those plastic gears break, these become disposable :(

Comment: This item when it does pick up the hairs it does a great job of removing it. However, most of the time it just cuts them in half. This then requires you to go over the same area over and over. This is also very painful. I used to wax often, epliatating can give you the smooth finish but certainly at a price. I am going to use a Braun and see if that one is less painful.

Comment: I have been using Epilady for 30 years and I needed to replace my old one finally. So I'm sticking with Epilady. I'm happy with the new version and my daughter is using it too.

Comment: I owned a old style coil epilady and I was told that old style is no longer available and this one replace and works as good as my old one....NOT TRUE.... I have to use this every other day and my old one I used every two weeks I wish this information would have been their while I was buying I would have looked for something different.

Summary: Works very well, though a bit difficult to clean at times
Comment: This is the second epilator I've owned. It works very well, removing most hair "painlessly" (it hurts like crazy the first time or two, but gets better after a while). It seems to pull most of the hairs out, rather than breaking them, is quiet, and the battery lasts for a reasonable amount of time before needing to be recharged. However, it's difficult to clean sometimes. You can't take the entire thing apart, so there are a lot of places for hair to get trapped. I don't think that's a problem unique to this epilator, though, and it doesn't seem to be significant enough that it affects performance.
