Summary: Philips Blue LED's in the Snow
Comment: About a year ago I mounted these little things in the roof beam that hold up a partial cover over my deck. So the lights are shining down, not up (not their intended use I know). Anyway, they have worked flawlessly and really look cool on winter nights when the blue light hits the snow on the deck. Kind of a post modern Nordic look.
These lights are very simple to install. It's actually pretty difficult to screw it up. 2 things you should have is a 1 1/8 inch Forstner bit and a 3/4 inch Forstner bit. These are for making the holes in whatever wood you're installing into so the lights fit flush with surface. Don't skimp on the bit. A good one is $12 but will save many headaches and damage to your deck.

Summary: Beautiful lights but could be better
Comment: I installed the LED lights to illuminate the stairs of my deck. It is so beautiful and I can't wait to turn it in on every night. The product quality is acceptable but the wire connectors that came with the lights are not working well. Otheres may have a better luck, but I could not make it work. I then dicide to use regular wire connectors (nuts). Another design flaw is wireless switch cover comes off so easily. I had to use colorless silicone to prevent losing the cover again. Also it should have a manual on/off switch at the power unit/transformer. If you lose your remote switch, there is no way to turn it on or off.

Summary: Great Product - looks fantastic BUT
Comment: These lights look the part. They were easy to install but the enclosed clips did not work so I wired each light in parallel on its own using as cheap twist cap. My deck looks light an airport runway. AMAZING.

Summary: These lights are well priced and very easy to install
Comment: Some folks have mentioned issues with the connectors. This is not an issue as long as you place the wires in them properly and press securely so that the wire is in direct contact with the plastic. If the instructions are read and followed, it won't be an issue. Lights look great and are well priced. Better yet, I don't need to replace any bulbs.

Summary: Coolest deck lights
Comment: These lights mount flush in deck and wire up easily. The remote does not work that good but maybe the battery is weak. The diameter of the lights are about an inch and they are hardly noticed in the daytime. They look awesome at night. We have the blue ones. These really add class to our new deck.
