Summary: They sure lubricate, but with one unpleasant side-effect
Comment: I had LASIK surgery about a month ago, and bought Tears Naturale with Polyquad from Amazon at the recommendation from my friend. While the drops do lubricate well, there's some oily substance in the liquid that blurs my vision for several minutes. The feeling then goes away, and I can see clearly.
I found the other popular brand, Refresh Plus by Allergan (single use vials), to be much more effective. They are just as lubricant, and don't blur your vision.
