Summary: Excellent bag
Comment: This bag is perfect for students with a laptop. Perfect size for a fair amount of notebooks and 1 large textbook as well as a 15.4-17" laptop. Extremely comfortable and easy to carry. Storage pockets are perfect for electronics, laptop charger, graphing calculator, iPod, cell phone, etc. Would recommend to anyone who needs a laptop bag with room for other materials.

Summary: Great pack for a laptoop and tools
Comment: I knew I had a great pack as soon as it arrived. It has lots of pockets for holding tools. It is built very tough. The straps carry the load with great comfort. Most of the field engineers I work with use the Pegasus. I think it is well worth its price. They didn't cut corners when they designed this one.

Summary: Very well made and fits my 17" widescreen
Comment: I was hesitant to buy this backpack because I already had one for my notebook and I also had a briefcase style case....I wasn't sure if it was worth the additional expense for yet another backpack. After noticing 3 other people at my work with a Swissgear backpack, I began to wonder what the big deal was. As soon as I compared my cheap HP backpack to theirs, it was clear that Swissgear makes a quality product. The style is rugged, durable, and very well made, so much that some people tease me and ask if I'm going hiking. That being said, the straps and cushion in the back is in the style of a hiking pack with extra support and additional straps. The handle on top is the best I've seen on any backpack. The back storage area fits my HP 8710W widescreen notebook without a problem and has extra room for my large AC adapter; it also comes with a separate pouch that easily fits additional cables or smaller accessories and the pouch is not attached so you can take it out. The second storage compartment can fit some books/files/papers, etc.. You have a smaller third compartment which I really like that can fit an ipod/cell phone, wallet, keys; small items you would want to have quick access to. The fourth compartment in the front includes several smaller pockets/compartments where you can fit and separate items such as flash drives, pens, earphones, business cards, etc... You also have pockets on each side of the pack where you can store additional small items and fit a 16oz water bottle. Overall this backpack was well worth the money and I wish I would've seen it earlier. If you're looking for a light pack, this is not it. If you want a durable pack with plenty of storage, get this, you can't go wrong and your money will be well spent.

Summary: Great Backpack
Comment: This is a great backpack with lots of storage space everywhere. It's also very well built and rugged (I take it to my job site, so it gets banged around a lot). I have a widescreen laptop, and it fits in there perfectly. Some with a very thick laptop may have problems getting it into the designated pocket, but mine worked fine.
My only real beef is that the side net pockets aren't big enough to hold a bottle of water, even though the advertising labels showed it packed like that. Not really a big deal; I still really like this bag.
