Summary: A Mighty Fine Piano
Comment: Looking for a quality piano, well this one is perfect for you. Its authentic and gives a great piano feel. My girls love it and I can hardly tel it's digital. Start your child on the pathway to music. It'll add to their education and help them make friends, too. They'll be the envy at their parties and, who know, maybe you'll start playing, too.

Summary: Great piano
Comment: I really like this piano. I haven't had one for years and my kids and I are taking lessons. The prerecorded songs are great, and the different tone types for playing different songs is great. It's compact and yet the sound is full. We are very happy.

Summary: No problems and plenty of features
Comment: For a young family that doesn't have deep pockets, this piano has been perfect for our needs. We are amateur piano players who wanted the feel of a real piano, good sound, good looks. This fit the bill. If you move up in features / price it is more money for what you get.

Summary: Very close to a piano - small and compact
Comment: My daughter is a music major and needed something to practice on at school. This has weighted keys, full size keyboard, nice quality sound, headphones and small enough to fit in the dormroom. Great price too.

Summary: Good Sound/easy set up/attractive
Comment: I bought it for my little music studio. I needed a full length keyboard. I like the feel, the pedals work well, the sound is good, it was easy to set up. I am a composer and have a recording studio and a full length midi keyboard but I always begin my compositions on the Privia. It feels good and sounds good. It records my playing so I can hear the piece to see what changes I need to make. I am happy with this Privia digital it suits my purposes from the beginning of creating a song, simply playing for pleasure, or as a tool for teaching music to young piano students.

Editorial Reviews:

The Casio PX700 digital piano fulfills the highest demands and ensures the best effect acoustically and visually. The stereo-sampled piano sound and the newly designed speaker system stand for a complete range of sounds and a real piano feeling - as do the three integrated pedals with half-damper function. The pullout keyboard cover and stylish music stand round off the exclusive design of the high quality digital piano perfectly. The Casio PX700 blends the lightweight, compact nature of a Privia Digital Piano with the traditional components of a cabinet piano. This new addition to the Privia line is the first with an integrated stand and 3 pedal unit. The Casio PX700 will hit the right key with anyone who is looking for a traditional piano look. This new addition to the Privia line turns up the tempo by incorporating revolving high-volume box-type speakers underneath the keyboard, which can be turned to face either the player or the audience. It also includes a slide-type cover that protects the keyboard and also adds to the stylish look. Other features include a scaled hammer action keyboard for authentic grand piano feel. The lower notes play relatively heavier than the higher notes, just like the keys on a grand piano. Stereo-sampled Tri-element ZPI sound source. A stereo-sampled Tri-element ZPI sound source includes separate waveforms for strong key pressure, medium key pressure and light key pressure, which accentuate the difference between the sounds produced by each. Multiple stereo-samples are also taken of tones produced by an acoustic grand, from the low range to the high range. Notes remain natural sounding and realistic from the moment a key is pressed until the note decays, providing you with sound quality that is virtually identical to that of an acoustic grand piano. 32-note polyphony helps to ensure you never lose notes due to damper pedal operation.
