Comment: My husband has had this radio/ear protector headset for over 2 summers now and doesn't do yard work without them. He absolutely loves them! He hasn't had any problems, hasn't even needed to change the batteries and he says that they make the time go so quickly.
While my husband was out of town our neighbor mowed our yard and used my husbands radio headset. He asked where I bought them from and ask if we would order him a pair and he'd gladly pay us back. I was able to find the same set again on Amazon and bought him a pair. He was sold after one use. On Amazon we found great pricing, quick shipment and a fabulous product that we would highly recommend for anyone who works in their yard or even on a noisy job site.

Comment: This product works as advertized. Sound quality is good, as is reception. I believe I received more for the money than I may have expected. I would have rated five stars, but haven't had them long enough to rate durability.

Summary: Just what I was looking for.
Comment: Needed some tunes to make cutting the grass more enjoyable. These drown out the lawn mower noise. These have both AM & FM stations. Perfect. I've seen these same ones in stores for $20 more that here at Amazon. Great deal!!

Summary: Effective protection with mediocre FM reception
Comment: The Peltor WorkTunes work well as hearing protection, but the radio function is pretty marginal. The tuning knob gives you no idea what frequency you are on and the tiniest movement of the little knob will hurtle you right past 2 or 3 stations. It is difficult to accurately tune into a station. When you do find the station by listening long enough for "station identification", the reception isn't particularly good. I would suggest saving a few bucks and forgetting the "Tunes" or spending more and getting decent radio.

Comment: My husband and I thought this radio headphone set were great for the price. They really block out the sound around you. Unfortunately,the 97 year old man we bought them for turned the dial from the classical channel we had it on and suddenly thought they were terrible because they had rock music on them! They would be great for working in a place with a lot of noise.
