Summary: Good Stuff
Comment: The active ingredient betasitosterol in this product (use Google to compare it with "Flomax") works. Not the various powders called "Saw Palmetto" and not even the 160 mg extract, I've found, but this one doubled is clearly effective. I read the "directions for use" on Saw Palmetto labels, and if the label advises only one a day (some want SIX a day) I take two. With this one, if I forget to take it for a few days I am made aware by my body (that's as double blind a test as I can make it). As with all herbals there is no assurance of consistent potency, too bad. And there are few or no clinical trials confirming efficacy, though some European clinical evidence (again, use Google) as well as my own experience. So I'm pleased with it.
