Summary: Good Dental Hygiene
Comment: I used an Interplak for over 15 years until it just wore out. I tried the Waterpik based on the reviews and the features. I have been pleasantly surprised by how well it performs and the ease of operation. Several points--the tank holds much more than my Interplak and is sufficient to for the entire irrigation process, the OFF/ON toggle switch works well when there is fluid in the tank, but, when the tank is empty, care must be taken to turn it OFF because the entire Waterpik likes to "walk" because of the decreased weight when you put pressure on the switch. I found the Waterpik must be fairly close because of the relative short connection between the pik and the tank, however, one learns to work with it.
Overall, a good irrigator and one worth the cost. I'm looking to many years of use and would recommend this to any potential buyer.

Comment: Glad I got it, but it takes a little time. Allot for at least 5 extra minutes in the a.m. and p.m. Not a replacement for periodontal treatment. Do both.

Comment: I've found this product to be easy to use. I follow the instructions in the manual which seems well-written and has helpful illustrations.
I've been using the Waterpik for over a month using mostly the jet tip. The tips are easy to insert and remove.
I generally use both the Waterpik and and either brush picks or floss each time I clean my teeth. Using the Waterpik, although it takes longer than brushing, flossing or using brush picks, is my favorite part of my dental regimen.
I empty the reservoir after each use and have had no problem with leakage.
I'm sorry I did not begin using a Waterpik earlier but now that I have, I intend to include it as a permanent part of my dental care.

Comment: It's my first time to use this type of product and I love it!! There is no water leaking problem as long as you empty the water container after use. The water jet is strong and adjustable. The only drawback is that the machine is kinda noisy but I don't know if you can find similar products without noises.

Comment: after purchasing a handheld battery op, which i sent back, this is the bomb. Really has a cleaning effect. I use it AFTER brushing so no toothpaste taste lingers. IM still a meat eater and particles stay in there where a brush can not reach. My perio guy says he does not like them tho. Oh well I do. Excellent buy.
