Comment: First, let me say that I am not affiliated with [...] at all other than the fact that I just bought these and about 25 other cufflinks from Cuffdaddy.com for my husband and I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised. Here's my overall experience with the company that sold these and the others to us: They all came packed carefully and neatly in the box which arrived with no damage, all the cufflinks were beautiful, each was packed in a shiny chrome gift box with no scuffs or prints, each set was substantial in weight and feel, expensive looking and unique. There were no chips, dings, damage, flaking of enamel, not even any smudges. These were clean, new, shiny and as the description says, unique. Overall, I highly recommend Cuffdaddy.com for their excellent customer service. I have been a customer for a couple of years at a certain cufflink retailer who carries several artists (with much higher prices) and made the switch for the customer service experience with cuffdaddy.com. They are real people who care about you and treat you like a person they want to do business with and keep business with. If you want good prices, excellent customer service and nice cufflinks at a very good price, shop from cuffdaddy.com.
As for the particulars about these links: The pictures that CuffDaddy has posted on most of their links really show adequate detail but there is something seriously lacking in the photographs of these. For one, the photographs seem to make the gold part of these cufflinks look like a worn or scuffed metal. Not so. They are a soft glowing buffed yet glossy golden color glass with a depth. Again, that cat eye type of glass that you just want to keep admiring under any type of lighting. I bought these because I wanted that expensive gold look and couldn't afford gold ones that didn't look el-cheapo. What we ended up with in these are better, I think because they carry that expensive gold feel but they are so unique that they earn well deserved comments (even if they are only from me when I seem him with them on). They really go with anything. They are over an inch at their widest point. See that little band that holds the gold setting in place? Again, with the photos but you can't see really that the setting is back-set..not flush with the top of the golden brushed glass. This makes the gold really pop. Its just the way it looks of course, but the silver colored metal setting reflects that gold color making it look gold too. The back however, is clearly a silver color and is shiny, no dings, scratches or dents. Traditional flip fastner link. Not easy to lose. Very nice. Looks fab with both traditional and non-traditional color shirts. Substantial feel in the hand.

These are an exceptional complement to blue, white, and many other French cuff shirts. Each pair is finished by hand to ensure a quality, lasting pair.
