The jack or whatever wouldn't fit in the bottom of my phone. After thinking on it for a bit, I decided I'd force it in one way or another, because hey, nothing to lose. After a few minutes of trying, I finally managed to force it in there, and gone were my worries that I had received the wrong charger. So, it seems it's a little big for the VX8300, but you just have to jam it in there. It gets easier after the second or third time. Aside from that initial issue, the charger works perfectly.
