Comment: kept the alarm but bought a pump switch and alarm. It was more expensive.

Comment: I put this alarm in my sump pump crock like it said. But the condensation in the crock got across the terminals and set off the alarm. The water level was below the alarm and never got that high but the wetness in the pit set off the alarm and made it useless.

Comment: I have the sensor hanging in my sump pump. It did go off one time when my power went off and I could hear it from upstairs.

Sounds loud 105dB or musical tone alarm. 6-foot sensor wire. Water sensing probe end may be suspended at any level in sump crock by attaching supplied weight. Wall-mount anchors keep alarm dry. Low battery signal. Uses standard 9 volt battery, not included.
