Summary: Beautiful lamp but bulb is only 40 W
Comment: This lamp and its little Tiffany-style shade are very well made and extremely good looking. The plugs in the back, for your clock radio and computer stuff are great. My only complaint is that the 40 W bulb included isn't very bright. I knew that when I bought it that it only took 40W, but you forget what that means. I'm going to see if I can get a compact flourescent with a very small screw in end to go with this. I'd just want to suggest to the manufacturers that they increase the size of the end or find a way to increase wattage to 60W. THEN it's perfect.
You actually can't go wrong anyway, the thing is so well-made and pretty, but if you want a bright reading lamp, you have to either cope with finding compact flourescents or get another less handsome model.

Summary: Highly quality, nice looking lamp
Comment: This is a handsomely made, sturdy lamp. I bought two and am thinking about buying a third. It looks great in my office. And, I love it on my bedside table where it gives me easy access to additional plugs in a place where I've never had enough (for a phone, lamp and clock) and hated having an extension cord.
