Summary: Cool cradle for iPhones and other things!
Comment: This is a great car cradle. A snap to put together and install. Conventiently (for my car) located just like in the pictures next to the steering wheel, obstructing nothing but the vent.
If you're in winter climates, it would probably be best to close the vent. I don't think the heat would be great for the iPhone or the mount.
It feels a tad brittle but I'm confident it will keep the iPhone from falling out.
Also keep in mind, it's a multi-purpose mount. I've put my radio scanner and digital camera in it with equal success.
I don't have a car charger for the iPhone so I can't tell if it would fit while in the cradle.
I knew I needed one like this and am very pleased with it.

Comment: I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS PHONE HOLDER FOR HANDS FREE USE OF YOUR CELL PHONE. INSTALLATION WAS A BREEZE. THE MINUTE I GET IN MY CAR I OPEN MY PHONE AND PLACE IT IN THE HOLDER. I DON'T HAVE TO FUMBLE THROUGH MY BAG SEARCHING FOR THE PHONE. I CAN CLEARLY SEE WHO'S CALLING BECAUSE IT'S RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. GREAT PURCHASE!!!

Comment: Had no problem fitting my Sprint HTC Mogul phone into this cell phone holder. The sides are adjustable and so is the bottom so that you can stick the car charger from underneath. I have it held really tight so it does not fall out. It's made viewing the GPS navigation map on my phone really easy and for making speakerphone phone calls.
I also had no problems installing the iGRIP into my Toyota Camry's vent. I just literally pushed it into the vent and it locked itself.
I recommend this item if you want to use speakerphone and/or GPS with your phone.
