Customer Rating: Summary: Panasonic es8807 Comment: Great shaver. Had to replace other panasonic shaver due to poor battery. I was reluctant to buy a refurbished shaver but the price was right. When I got it, I was surprised it looked brand new(they replace the screen/blades). Great performance shaving in the shower. (I have a heavy beard.)So far the battery is excellent, Im getting at least 6 shaves per charge.
Customer Rating: Summary: Stylish and compace Comment: Looks good and shaves well. Charges last a long time. Cleans up quick. My last Panasonic shaver lasted 5+ years. This looked brand new.
Customer Rating: Summary: small power razor Comment: have had some 6 other types of Panasonic wet/dry shaves but love this one
because it is small, charges quickly and has the more powerful motor. I
love it.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Simple Shaver Comment: This shaver is great, had it for around a year now and I love it. It gives a good shave and doesn't irritate my skin like my older shavers. It took a little while to get used to but now I cant go back. If you use it in the shower its gives an even closer shave.
Customer Rating: Summary: Head same as much more expensive shaver Comment: I'm a big Panasonic fan and have owned many. This 8807 features what looks to me as the same "convex" cutting system that is on the much more expensive 8168s shaver from Panasonic. The 8168 is, what, $180 bucks or so versus $80...I own the 8807 and it is a joy. I read the 8168 reviews and they mirror what I would say about the 8807! The difference seems to be in all the frilly features of the 8168 which are unnecessary. I mean, auto cleaning on a wet and dry shaver?? That is an absurdity to me since all you have to do is stick the thing under a running faucet and its clean. And of course if you use it with shave cream, the rinsing combined with the soap cleans it. All of these auto clean shavers are not needed, are expensive, and add time and complication. And then you have to buy "cartridges" for the cleaner base! Don't be fooled. The "business end" of the 8807 is the same as the 8168. Save the cash!
