Customer Rating: Summary: most of the songs were so-so Comment: The songs "The way I Are" and "Apologize" are the best songs on the cd and the rest were kinda boring, I thought.
Customer Rating: Summary: Shocking Comment: I really like only about 5 songs on this album. A few are way to vulger to even listen to. Timbaland is soo talented, I wish he could keep it cleaner.
Customer Rating: Summary: Buyer Beware Comment: If you are expecting the same level of quality shown on Nelly Furtado's album, Justin Timberlake's album, or Madonna's album, it will fall short of such expectations. It has the same feel to it as the others sound wise but digging deeper, lyrically it is horrible, he comes across as a thug, that no one on earth can mix a track other than him, there's confidence and then there's arrogance, the n***** and the f*** word are overused if not abused, last but not least he comes off as a chauvinist who thinks he's gods gift to women.
Customer Rating: Summary: Where's Nina Simone? Comment: The last five songs completely saved this cd for me. I thought it was a shame that Nina Simone isn't given credit for her contribution to the first track. Every other tracks say Timbaland Featuring _____, but track one leaves Nina Simone off and claims to be a solo piece. I disagree with his taking the liberty of changing her "Oh Sinnerman" to "Oh Timbaland", but in the end I have to admit that the album as a whole is great. The Best of Nina Simone
Customer Rating: Summary: Not so shocking Comment: Timbaland excels in creating some catchy rhythm arrangements and a very broad musical canvas. He also pulls off a feat in bringing together some serious star power. Where this album falls short is on is recording quality, cohesiveness, creativity and the edge that one would expect from a provocative title like "shock value."
