Comment: I love these potholders! I have problems with carpal tunnel syndrome, so I sometimes find it difficult to carry my heavier, more awkward pots and casserole dishes. I was trying to find new potholders that would work for me and knew that silicone could help reduce the slippage. I was disappointed in the other styles of silicone pads, though, because they were not very flexible and I found them still difficult to grasp. When I found these, however, I knew instantly they would work. They are so flexible and conforming to your hand and the hot items. Plus they feel very thin, but are incredibly heat resistant. I haven't had a single problem with them. I highly recommend them for anyone!

This 7 inch square of heat resistant silicone from SiliconeZone is safe up to 675 degrees F and is flexible enough to be used as a pot holder. Alternatively, set it on your table and use it as a trivet - it won't slip or skid like cork, metal, or coth. The pot holder has a raised grid on the surface for excellent gripping and does double duty as a jar opener. This Grid Pot Holder is truly a multi-purpose kitchen tool and best of all, cleaning it is easy - it's dishwasher safe. Bright blue.
