Customer Rating: Summary: The only Buletooth I'll ever use Comment: I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a big fan of the bluetooth headset. I have never had one prior to this one that I've liked and I've used the H850 The H300 and the 750, all of which I gave away to friends and family. None of them ever fit well, I hated wearing them so they spent most of the time in my pocket. This one is different; it comes with two ear hooks so it doesn't irritate from being too big or too small. The slider part is the best feature, if I don't have it on my ear I can just press the button and it connects my call just like that ( if your worried about it accidently connecting there is a lock on the top). My only conplaint is the distance, if I walk away from my phone it starts to get fuzzy, so I have to make sure to keep my phone with me but that's cool. The battery life is well beyond what I expected I only charge it about once a week. This is the only bluetooth that I have no plans on giving away.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Blue Tooth for the Money Comment: I bought this for my son for his Motorola KRZR cell phone and it works fine. The H800 sync' d up quickly, it connects quickly to the phone once you hit the button and the little slider comes out, and the clarity is more than adequate. This one is actually pretty good in the wind too. We don't like the headsets that have the ear piece that goes INTO your ear, we find them uncomfortable, this one has 3 different ear hoops to fit different size ears and it sits snugly up against your ear. It's solidly built and I think this one should last 12-18 months with no problem.
I've had a bunch of these headsets and none of them is perfect...not even the Jawbone. My theory is to buy genuine Motorola headsets that are 6-12 months old, buy them at half of their original price, and use them till they quit.
I paid $36.99 with free shipping directly from Amazon ....and it is definitely worth every penny.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good product Comment: Product worked as described; I purchased this to replace a H700, got way too much static with the H700. I get pretty good call quality and good distance from the device. The only drawback is that with the H800 you have to open the unit then answer the call, if the unit is in the closed position (this requires two taps), not a big deal but I liked the flip open and answer feature on the H700 as I don't like to keep mine in my ear the entire time I'm in my car for three reasons #1) I'm just not that important #2) the dork factor and #3 interference with my music listenability (I love my tunes); I'd rather be able to 1-touch power and answer then put the device on for the conversation. The 3 earpiece hooks are a nice touch for customization. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and the product works great with my Moto W755.
Customer Rating: Summary: Very nice headset...earpieces could be tighter fitting Comment: Good quality, nice reception to unit. 3 total earpieces are nice, but could fit tighter. Can lock, so earpiece doesn't open to connect. Nice feature. I would recommend this product. Micro usb is odd, and located behind the unit.
Customer Rating: Summary: Tinny sound, uncomfortable earpiece - get an H500 Comment: Both my husband and I tried this one, switching off with our H500. The H500, while an earlier model, is quite superior. the H800 is light, but bulky so it felt unbalanced on my ear. The most notable problem was it sounded very tinny to people on the other end of the line. I had people asking me to repeat things with the H800 much more frequently than I did with the H500.
Motorola, next time don't fix what ain't broke.
