Customer Rating: Summary: Puppinis recreate the sound of the past Comment: The Puppini Sisters' debut album "Betcha Bottom Dollar" is a great throwback to the sounds of such groups as the Andrews Sisters or the King Sisters. What is amazing about these ladies is not only do they do the standards that are most loved, but they take contemporary pop tunes, such as "I Will Survive" and "Heart Of Glass", and apply the 1940's style to them. If you like such singers as Diana Krall or Renee Olstead, then you should check these ladies out. They multiply those singers to the power of three.
Customer Rating: Summary: Love At First Listen Comment: I think I'm in love with the Puppini Sisters. The problem is I don't know which one. Seemlessly weaves 40's swing style into recent rock hits. Wonderful.
Customer Rating: Summary: Sway Deluxe Comment: Delightful selection of music done before, but with a new twist. Very much enjoy their harmonies and humor. Charming and cheeky, like the Ditty Bops, they truely entertain my socks off!
Customer Rating: Summary: Just plain fun! Comment: This CD is just plain fun to listen to and sing along with...makes you want to dance!
Customer Rating: Summary: Very upbeat music Comment: I enjoy listening to the CD in the car, especially on long road trips as the music is fun and upbeat.

Inspired by the Oscar®-nominated film The Triplets of Belleville (a French animated movie which features a `40s-style harmony group), The Puppini Sisters -- Marcella Puppini, Kate Mullins, and Stephanie O'Brien -- formed in London. Dressed in 1940's-style wardrobe, the three sing like The Andrews Sisters with inspiring harmonies, and perform classics such as "Mr. Sandman," "In The Mood," and "Jeepers Creepers." But what make The Puppini Sisters truly stand out are their show-stopping interpretations of more current tunes.
