It also helps with frizziness. The only issue is it is hard to find in stores or salons where I live. I've had more than one salon tell me they stopped carrying it. In Paris, when I was there in 2008, it was available in EVERY hair salon! I bought 3 bottles while I was there! It gets old paying shipping for this. But, if you need a product for straightening and smoothing, this is good stuff. This is one of the very few products that really seems to help without weighing my hair down or making it greasy.
