Summary: Clean as a whistle!
Comment: While I couldn't use the exact razor I liked and had to buy a model that fit, the results were better than expected. I used a back brush first to lather up my back (I applied the shaving gel to the brush then wet it a little bit with water to lather it up). I then pulled the razorba up the length of my back to above the shoulder blades on both sides and once in the middle, then removed the blade and finished the shoulders by hand. In all the process took under 7 minutes for me and I do this twice a week. You will probably get the best results with your back to the bathroom mirror while using a hand held mirror to periodically check your progress.
I thoroughly recommend the Razorba for any man interested in removing hair from his back.

Comment: Well finally!! Someone has made a product that men really need. For more years than I care to remember I have been suffering the sort of rash that only someone who duct tapes a bic disposable on to the BBQ spatula to shave with can understand. I have recommended this to so many of my friends who's wives & girlfriends are so grateful to me for not having to do "that chore" again. After all there is only so far you can push the "if you really love me" blackmail thing. In fact the only friend I have who didn't want one was my friend Phil who insists if a jobs worth doing then its got to be done with hot wax by his boyfriend Dalton. Oh well live & let live Phil.

Summary: Cheap model & not long enough for those over 6 feet tall
Comment: Anybody curious why Razorba isn't sold in stores? It's been sold strictly online for 5 years. They would sell hundreds of thousands more at places like Wal-Mart and Target. Could it be because people would too easily return it to the local stores. Then the product would be sent back to Razorba for credit.
The handle on the basic model is made up of two halves clicked together. The clear plastic insert that holds the razor handle seems a bit flimsy and like it could possibly be torn out if the razor is not gently pulled out. One person already mentioned trying to pull out their Mach 3 razor only to now have the housing attached to the handle. Yet the Razorba is supposed to be designed to fit the Gillette Mach 3 handle.
The handle is not long enough. It needs to be about 4 or 5 inches longer. It only goes a little over halfway down my back. Luckily that's were MOST of my hair is. I reach around my back underarm with the razor alone to get the lower back. I'm 6'2" tall. I'm sure there are just as many tall guys with hair as there are short. Why didn't they design this with a longer handle or an adjustable handle? Since Razorba is now making additional higher models of the shaver, why didn't they include a adjustable handle as one of the features of the more expensive model?

Summary: Don't have back hair anymore!!!
Comment: Must have guy grooming tool!!! I don' have back hair anymore because of this product. No more embarrassing days at the beach because of my very, very thick body hair. I have had one since about 2004 and now I use the Razorba every few days while I am in the shower. I use a regular, but angle-adjustable fog-free mirror; after awhile though, you can shave many spots just by feel.
Also I don't use shaving cream, but am sure to shave towards the end of my shower in order to give the hair time to soften. I also just use plain old' pivot head disposable razors 'cause the handle fits the best into the receiving end of the Razorba. Between this product and a cheap set of electric clippers my otherwise sasquatch-like body hair has been tamed.
I must caution that I once did cut myself badly; right down the middle of my back early on in my use of the product. I was then using a single blade razor that turned sideways in the socket, I also was not being very careful and was really swiping away at the hair...The resulting cut was not deep but amazingly left a very long and noticeable scar. I believe that it would be pretty difficult to duplicate that event, but since then I try to be more careful and deliberate in my strokes. In short, the product works great, I even passed one on to my teenage son as well who like his Dad is one hairy dude...

Summary: Ok...but could be better
Comment: The Razorba works alright. I have a few issues though: 1. If you are shaving your back with a full crop of hair, it isnt going to work very well, just like trying to shave your face or wherever without trimming things down first. If you are really hairy you will need to either nair anyway or be very very very patient with this thing as it will only shave about a square inch of long hair on its own. Seems like it will be good to use if your hair is very short though. 2. The plastic slot that you put the razor in could be designed better. It is basically a softer plastic tube that grips the handle of a normal disposable razor inside the harder plastic body of the Razorba. This could be improved by putting some sort of screw clamp on the side so your disposable couldnt move. I think this could be done without increasing the cost much since I suspect they make a pretty huge profit margin on these things. The problem with the razor not being held securely is that it can turn slightly in the plastic sleave and cut you, this doesnt really hurt but if you are a bleeder its hard to get it to stop. Another thing that could be improved is to make a hole in the end of the head of the thing opposite where you put the razor for water to flow out of. After you rinse off the razorblade water collects in the head which when you go to do another stroke flies all over your bathroom, but more seriously makes the razor fit less tightly in the soft plastic tube. All in all this product does work but their are a few minor annoyance type issues that coule be fixed easily to make it better.
