Summary: great for runners
Comment: I bought this after reading many good reviews and used it while training for a marathon from Jan-Apr 2008.
Works great after a run. Also did wonders for my lower back, hamstrings and glutes. I am always glad to use it and feel much better and looser afterwards

Summary: Seems to work well...
Comment: I use the Stick almost daily before and after my runs (up to 10 miles, but usually 2-4 miles). I suffer from Compartment Syndrome and have had compartment release surgery on my left leg in the past. The successful surgery allowed me to continue to run. Unfortunately, over the past year, my right leg began exhibiting symptoms of compartment syndrome. Not wanting to endure additional surgery and on my doc's advice, I purchased the Stick. The idea is to loosen the facia of the leg muscles before and after the run in order to allow increased expansion of the leg muscles during exercise. It seems to work. I've had decresed symptoms and believe I can continue to run without resorting to surgery.

Summary: Good Item, Not great description
Comment: I liked the stick, but I really don't think that they did a good job describing it. They said on the site that it was half a foot shorter, and it ended up taking about a week longer than it said to be delivered. Its a great product just the site description and the delivery were disappointing.

Summary: Relief from myofacial pain
Comment: I'm glad I found this item. I have fibromyalgia and sometimes feel bruised all over. Gently rolling the stick across those sore areas helps relieve the pain.

Summary: Not so easy to use on the neck area
Comment: The runners' websites recommend foam rollers and THE STICK for sore muscles. I had the foam roller (GOFIT) and it worked amazingly, but I couldn't get to the neck/shoulder area with the foam roller. I, therefore, decided to get the STICK. I was not impressed with the STICK.
The stick rolls across the body like a rolling pin but it doesn't hammer out the knots like the foam rollers do. I returned my "stick."
