Comment: Sherman, start the wayback machine...the night I got this I watched the first three (Beach Party, Muscle Beach Party, and Bikini Beach) one after the other...what a trip...yes, they're dated, but at their best surprisingly sexy. Some of the music is pretty lame, but a lot of it is terrific...Frankie (especially) and Annette have their spots to shine, as well as appearances by Dick Dale & the Deltones, the underrated Pyramids, the Hondells, Stevie Wonder (when he was still Little), Lesley Gore, a great James Brown and the Famous Flames performance, and Donna Loren at her absolute best. Beautiful widescreen prints as well. Not for everyone, but for those that remember the days...or want to...definitely recommended

Summary: FRANKIE AND ANNETTE BOX SET
Comment: This wonderful Box Set from the American International Beach movies is a joy to have in any collection. These films were rare in UK cinemas on release date. They were mostly seen on television but thanks to MGM and their transfer to DVD, I am able to watch them at my leisure. I own a DLP projector system, the box set looks fantastic in the Panavision format.

Comment: Frankie & Annette MGM Movie Legends Collection (Beach Blanket Bingo / How to Stuff a Wild Bikini / Beach Party / Bikini Beach / Fireball 500 / Thunder Alley / Muscle Beach Party / Ski Party)
I am a disabled man in his 60s but for a couple of hours, while watching these films, I am young again in the 60s. Once again I feel the excitement I felt and for a few minutes dreamed the dreams I had back then. I would give anything if a time warp suddenly transported m back to those carefree days.
