Comment: I would urge customers not to purchase this product based upon our experience. When we received the "safety" bar we read the easy instructions and made sure that the grip was fastened appropriately with the red side showing - indicating it was locked. However, when ny elderly grandmother attempted to use it to get out of the tub it came right off the wall. She is a tiny woman weighing only 98 lbs. Had her helper not been with her she would have fallen and certainly injured herself seriously. If you are someone who can withstand a fall then by all means purchase. Otherwise, please get something more permanent.

Comment: Safety handle seemed very secure when installed per instructions;
however, later that day it fell off into the shower (which amplified
the sound creating a startling sound). Don't think this is a good idea
for even a balancing handle. Would return if I had the chance.

Get a handle on bathroom safety with this bathtub and shower handle. This easy to install grip gives both parent and child steady confidence in and around the tub. Toddlers can enter a wet and slippery bath tub safely. Simply press the tab levers to securely attach the handle. It can be used on shower walls placed vertically too! It is so easy to install and remove, all you have to do is just flip the tabs. It's that easy and it will provide a secure hold to your bath tub or wall.
Take it with you on vacation or when traveling overnight at friends or family. It's good to have one at the grandparents home too. The suction cup area must cover mounting area fully to grip and can not be porous or textured.
