Summary: Check your TV Warranty
Comment:
Sony TV warranties will not protect against surge protection unless you have a qualified surge protector.
There is a clear line written in the extended warranty that talks about failure due to energy spikes and they will only cover if you have proper protection.
This should do the trick.
The reason I gave it three stars is because I have a concern.
The voltage display on the front lingers in the 110-115V range, yellow bar instead of green bar (116-120V).
This would be normal for my neighborhood, if I wasn't running everything through a power stabilizer, which ensures every component runs at an even 120V. I get the same read out if I plug it directly into the wall. My Monster Power 3600 reads it as a solid 120V with zero flux as it should. So I am confused. Is the readout on the Belkin bogus? Do I have a faulty unit? I called Belkin tech service (clearly run overseas) and I got nowhere with them.
They just kept saying that they would call me back only to finally send me an e-mail asking how did I like my service. Ugh.
The reason I bought the console was my smaller Belkin surge protectors kept tripping (off) when I ran several devices through them. Clearly I needed something better to handle the power. This unit did pass it's initial test last week with five HDTVs and stereo equipment running through it.
I like the unit, it looks great. Feels solid. Priced great.
But I think I might exchange it for the slightly more expensive Monster Power unit. I spent a lot on my power stabilizers and if this isn't using them correctly, then the savings I had weren't worth it.

Comment: I decided to go with this power center for my audio equipment rack and to clean up the current going to my Onkyo TX-SR605 7.1 Channel Home Theater Receiver (Black), Playstation 3 40GB and Samsung LNT4669 46-inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV. Considering the price I got on this, I have been really pleased. The clean stage power filtration took out any of the noise that I had noticed before and has different outlet blocks for switched or always on power. This was a much better deal than any of the monster power stuff and it is reassuring to have everything behind some serious surge protection. Looks great in black also. I would definitely recommend this product.

Summary: Great Device , Fixed My Problem.
Comment: Long story short.
I was getting and Audio Hummmm from devices plugged in to my Houses AC electric outlet. It was confirmed to be my AC. The TV and Cable were powered from the house next door and the hum went away.
So I began my search for a "Power Conditioner". This product rocks ! Set it up plugged all components in to it....and NO HUM anymore.
So I think its a great device and does what it advertises. Picture and Audio from everything connected look and sound a little better too.
Highly reccomend this if you have an existing problem or just want to protect your equipment.

Comment: This item seems worth the price and is also a bargain at the price asked by Amazon. Also, shipping was free. It actually smoothed out the sound of my stereo system to the point that the sound is extremely satisfying. I am happy with this product due to the aforementioned cleaning up and balancing of the sound of my stereo, which is the purpose I bought this product for. The only negative situation I ran into was when contacting customer service, the woman I spoke with had no clue how to answer the question I had!
