Summary: Does what it says
Comment: I bought this lap counter to use both in the pool and on the indoor track at my health club (17 laps per mile!) It works just as it's meant to, and is comfortable and unobtrusive to wear. I gave it four stars instead of five because I'd like it to (1) always display the lap you're on, instead of the lap time; and (2) be easier to "clear" when starting the next set of laps - it makes you scroll through all the summary information before clearing out.
This model is their "in-between" version - more features than their basic one, and less than their top-of-the-line one. Frankly, if I'd known they made just a simple lap count model, that's what I'd have bought instead since that's all I really wanted (if I'm going to do timing, I use a watch so the data can be saved/retrieved.) However, this model was all I could ever find online. I didn't know they made other models until I read about them on the packaging insert for this one.
Before you buy, keep in mind this model does not save data on each individual lap - only the total count, average time, and fastest and slowest laps in the session. The current session info is lost once you clear the counter.
Overall, this is a well-made product and I'd recommend it.

Summary: Awesome product!
Comment: I use this as a swim lap counter and it is terrific! The one hand operation is very easy to do without disrupting swim stroke, and the display is simple and easy to use. My only wish is that it had a back light when the counter button is pushed because if your swim goggles are at all fogged up it can be a bit tricky to read the lap count underwater. But overall an outstanding product.

The SportCount Combination Counter/Timer is easy to use. It's operated with one hand and doesn't interfere with the natural flow of exercise. Worn on the index finger (right or left), the user simply presses a button with his/her thumb when completing a lap.
