Summary: Good Buy - Great Product
Comment: This is a very good product, I use it to view my garage area when I am on the opposite end of the house. I can carry the portable monitor upstairs or anywhere in the house and can maintain a good reception. I have very few interruptions of signal. Overall I am happy with this given the price. The night vision is OK, but would suggest you leave an outside light on --it greatly enhances the picture quality. I also like the fact that you can have a permanent power AC adapter or battery option.

Summary: night vision needs improvement
Comment: We just received the product along with an extra camera. During the day the picture is clear, but at night, we can't see a thing out of one of the cameras. It might be that we have them too high up, so I will contact support tomorrow. Also I believe my satelite internet is causing the line that's going through it, and sometimes it gets fuzzy.
I bought an RC jack yo attach to our computer and an external hard drive so we can record 24hrs a day.

I bought a GX5203 to monitor the front side of my house. It provides most features that I expected from a wireless system. The color screen is clear and the camera sound is audible. The installation is a snap and I don't even have to read the manual to make it running. The camera viewing angle of 69 degrees is acceptable. I wish they will add a motion detector to the camera as an improvement in the future.

Summary: A camera for my robot
Comment: I recently bought an SVAT GX5203 camera for my remote controled robot. This camera has good range and is very portable. I recently owned a Swann micro camera for my robot but it had bad range and no night vision. The swann camera broke about 2 weeks ago (I don't know why) it stoped charging and woulden't turn on. So I serched for a replacement and found this. Not only is camera more portibal than my old swann it also has a much more sturdy construction. the night vision works great and the reciver is much better and less expensive than the swann reciver. Over all this is a very good wierless camera.

Comment: Interesting how different reviews can vary. I bought this unit because my wife couldn't see who was at the front door without approaching the door. So this combination of camera and monitor looked like it would do the trick. Once it arrived, I installed the unit and we were off and running. There were a few drawbacks: (1)had problems powering the camera with a battery, (2)power cord with camera limits your placement options. Once I figured out that the AC connections was in the battery compartment the monitor was all set. For long term use, the battery option really won't work too well. The monitor picture did have some interference lines but not enough to distort the picture. We didn't really care about the mic/volume so we turned it down. Overall, not a bad product that keeps the wife feeling secure and happy.
