Customer Rating: Summary: excellent for all ages Comment: the PSP 2000 is a pretty well-known system. it's easy to use, it's portable, and they have a wide variety of games and movies. the psp slim may have some cons. i would like to point them out. the packaging was pretty lame. i had to use scissors to open up the packaging which could have damaged my system. luckily it didn't. but i wish Sony would have done better with packaging.
The PSP has plenty of pros as well. for start, the PSP has internet. that was a huge step up for the world of gaming. i was very proud of Sony when they released the PSP. I enjoy the games tremendously. you can play for hours, and never get bored. i enjoy the PSP Slim more than the original because it's sleeker, it's lighter, and you get skype. skype is a fun feature for the new PSP model. you can call skype to skype for free. but there is a slight fee to calling landlines. no worries. but this PSP system is a must get for all gamers. don't get the DS. the DS is waaaaaaay dumber than the psp. the psp is way better. i hope i helped. :)

Customer Rating: Summary: Just as Addicting as it's PS2 Counterparts... Comment: Firstly, comments on the PSP 2000: I made this purchase b/c my ipod finally burnt out and I was looking for an all-in-one machine to replace it. The combination of gaming, video and music is what sold me...and I must say that I am not disappointed. It plays MP4s and MP3s crisply (if you have the right software) and the UMD movies are very nice as well. It's a little bigger than the ipod, but the screen is also gi-normous! The red shell w/ the Kratos emblazed upon it is nice, but it's the hardware itself that is what really sells this thing.
As for the game: If you like the other GoW games, than this is just more of the same greatness. There is a little bit of a difference in control since the button scheme is down a few...but once you get used to it, it is seamless and easy to control. Graphically, I'm impressed. I'd say the PSP version is just about on par w/ GoW 1, just about. A must have game...or at least must play.
Lastly, the bundle itself: I feel it was a good deal. The system, the game and the movie (Superbad) for $199. However, there is no memory card involved in the deal. There are other bundles (like the Daxter one) which do include a 1 gig memory card...which is a $20+ dollar value if you go retail. My advice...don't go retail. I was able to get an 8 gig Sony produo card for $60, and there's a 16 gig card out now.
All in all, PSP + GoW = goodness.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Portable Comment: The PSP is a great portable gaming system with multimedia capabilities. It can play movies, music, stream video and radio, and surf the web via wi-fi.
I use it 99% of the time as a gaming system for when I go on vacation. It is a great entertainment device for this purpose. It has many mainstream games and if you are familiar with the Playstation/PS2/PS3 titles available, you will feel right at home with the PSP.
Overall this is a great system that is less kid-oriented like the Gameboy series of devices. It is a precision piece of hardware with an exposed glass screen. Teens and Adults alike will find the games availale for it to be challenging and fun.
Customer Rating: Summary: Lots of fun so far. Comment: I'm not a big video game freak, but I do enjoy this PSP and God of War. It is a somewhat short game, but I don't have the patience that I once had for video games. Action packed and easy to play for a bit, save and come back to it later. If you don't have a PSP, this one seems like a great buy - I don't think I would have gotten as much gameplay out of Daxter or the Star Wars game that comes in other packages.
Customer Rating: Summary: fun game but too short Comment: I love the silver psp the glossy finish makes it look and feel much more luxurious. The new slim model is lighter, and gets better battery life it comes with a 1gb memory stick a family guy dvd and dexter game the game is fun but short and easy.

The PSP Slim & Lite is a natural design evolution for the PSP system. It also includes a video output, which means that your PSP can now be connected to a TV, enabling you to play, share and watch your games, videos and photos on a TV. The speaker location has also been improved providing an even better sound experience than before.
