Summary: Frequent static during conversations, but stable nonetheless
Comment: This is my third bluetooth voice device and I have to say that I've yet to experience a product that worked as advertised.
Forget the claims companies make about reception distance. The 220 is no exception. On my Blackberry I've found that anything over 5 to 7 feet creates far too much annoying static. Unlike the other bluetooth devices I've used, I've actually encountered static with the 220 even when I'm 1 foot from the phone. However, I will say this - this is the most stable device I've used so far. Once it partners with the phone it remains connected.
So it's been a mixed bag. I'll use the 220 until it breaks or is lost (and that always seems to happen). After that I certainly won't be looking to buy another of the same model.

Comment: This is a great bluetooth for the price. It's ntt fancy, but I've had no problems with it and it has a louder, clearer sound than the previous, more expensive bluetooth I had. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Comment: This is a great bluetooth. I forget I have it on at times, even with my sunglasses. I use this while driving and the sound quality is very good. I use it with Virgin Mobile's Super Slice (UT StarCom)

Comment: I bought this product as one of the Gold box specials for that day. I was in a shopping kind of mood and I needed a new bluetooth so it looked like a good idea. My tech-savvy fiance had his doubts about the quality until he used it and heard how clear it was! Its not the most comfortable fit but it gets the job done. It gets more comfortable if he adjust it a little. Volume is great, easy to connect. Comfort and a less than ideal battery life are my only complaints (I get about 2 hours of talk time.. usually over a week for me so its not big deal to charge it for 2 hours every now and then).
Overall I would recommend.

Comment: Recieved the Plantronics 220 headset in reasonable time and in good shape. After charging had no problems linking up with my Moto V3. Sound and volume were great and voice dial worked great. Got this on 'Today's Deals' for a great price.

QuickPair Pairing Instructions
Headsets with QuickPair are automatically in pairing mode when powered on until paired with the first device. - Step 1: Start with headset powered OFF. Hold down headset Call Control button for four seconds--release when Indicator Light flashes red and blue. Headset is now discoverable. Headset will remain discoverable until it is paired with its first device.
- Step 2: Use your device’s menu to enter its pairing mode and select 220Plantronics on the display. 0000 is the pairing passkey.
- Subsequent Pairings: To manually place headset in Pairing Mode, begin with the headset turned off, then press the call control button for 8-10 seconds until the headset indicator light flashes red and blue. The headset is now in pairing mode for the next 60 seconds. To pair with a phone, repeat Step 2.
- Reconnection for Previously Paired Devices: If the Bluetooth phone and your Plantronics Bluetooth headset have been out of range for an extended amount of time or if the headset and/or phone were turned off and do not automatically reconnect, simply do a short press of the call control button and the devices will reconnect.
