Customer Rating: Summary: This is Great Laundry Detergent--Especially if You Have Sensitive Skin Comment: I have been using Seventh Generation Free and Clear Laundry Detergent for about six months now and I think it's great. The stuff really IS free and clear--unlike so many products that seem to have some fragrance even if they promise they don't--which is great for people who have sensitive skin. My husband and I have both broken out from different detergents/and or dryer sheets in the past, so we're always wary to try a new detergent, but neither of us had any reaction to the Seventh Generation stuff. It's a great bonus that this detergent is environmentally friendly. The concentrate lasts a long time since you have to use so little for every load, and the detergent you do use is biodegradable. I like the idea that I'm not killing the planet by getting clean (I live right by a major east coast waterway so it's extra nice)! Customer Rating: Summary: Perfect for Allergies Comment: Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent / B000V87CZW I started switching to Seventh Generation products because I was trying to do the right thing for the environment, but I've found that the Seventh Generation products are also incredibly good for me because they are free from the bleaches, dyes, and allergens that set off my skin allergies so badly. I love this laundry detergent as it doesn't leave my clothes feeling scratchy or itchy to me, and I don't have to worry about skin rashes on laundry day. My mother also loves that the detergent is largely fragrance free - her allergies are badly irritated by all those fake flower scents that they stuff into commercial cleaners. And, besides all those benefits, I feel that the laundry comes out just as clean as before, and my clothes seem to last a lot longer, now that they don't get as many chemicals soaked into them. I originally purchased a single bottle from Drugstore.com, but Amazon turns out to be a slightly lower price (adjusted for scale, of course), so I'll probably order the larger Amazon pack whenever I run out next time.
