Summary: Not good for exercising
Comment: This product is NOT a good choice if you are looking to run, bike, etc. with it. The earpiece does not stay seated in the mp3 player and the music continually 'pops.' Also, the clip on the mp3 player often falls off in the course of vigorous activity.

Comment: a nice player all in all, but with one problem. It can not play mp3 file with a low composing rate, namely 24 kbps files for me, do not know what is the reason.

Comment: After reading all the reviews on this player, I decided to take the plunge-not exactly a great plunge for just under $40. I really didn't know what to expect..2 days after I ordered the 1 gig model, it was in my mailbox!! Thank you Amazon for great service!! I hooked it up to my computer with the enclosed USB cable..and it charged up fine. While it was charging, I opened Windows Explorer, and dragged and dropped the albums and songs I wanted to transfer into the folders under the Sansa icon that shows itself as a storage device in Explorer. It couldn't be simpler. So after a week of living with this little wonder, I'm a happy man. I would suggest getting the 2 gig model for just a few dollars more..that's my only regret so far! The radio is a great bonus feature, and handy for a quick see of what's happening out in the real world.

Comment: What is the most important feature of an MP3-Player? Right, the color ... ahem, or, if you are not Paris H. it might be the sound. After all, you want to hear music with it, not showing it off to your snooty friends. This little thing comes with just a few bells and whistles - but you are able to hear them in phantastic sound! The navigation is simple and straight forward. The small size is both, a blessing and a curse - while you will be able to take the little thing everywhere with you, chances are that it will slip out of your pocket unnoticed sometime. Well, I guess istead of using the clip, I just tie it to a chain or something ...
A little snafu happened when I tried to connect it to my PC - the hardware recognition of XP woulnd't recognize it properly. The USB mode in the Sansa was on the default "auto" position. It worked properly when I switched it to "MSC". I guess, for a computer/MP3 novice that could throw you off ...
Other than that, I am very satisfied with the player and my only grief is, that I should have bought the 2GB model. It lacks a miniSD card slot, so now I am limited somewhat ... But I knew that and it is my own fault to be too cheap to spend a few dollars more for the bigger capacity ...

Comment: The SanDisk Sansa Clip 1 GB MP3 player exceeded all my expectations. I bought it for my son's 7th birthday. He loves it. It is so easy to use. I think I will buy one for myself and my older son. Also, the price dropped $15 after the iphone went on sale.
