Customer Rating: Summary: Not your average old guys just lingering around album Comment: I am really impressed with this one . I just got it and was really not expecting it to be great(most of the stuff that older bands try now does not turn out great) but I was very pleasantly surprised to hear that this is just as good as there early stuff even better than alot of it.This my favorite new album in years and I buy lots of them, so go ahead and get it and see if you do not aggree.
By the way, I am a huge Deep Purple fan so I have kept up with Coverdale throughout the years and some of his stuff I did not like but this album is one of the best things he has done since his Purple days back in the 70's.
Customer Rating: Summary: false advertising Comment: When I ordered the cd it said 2 cd/dvd set but I only received the one cd and now the info has been changed. Very sad, full refund should be given. The album is classic Whitesnake, very good, the best thing is NEW material.
Customer Rating: Summary: No second CD Comment: same issue as other people here. i ordered the double cd with the live bonus cd but only received the single cd version!!! i returned the one they shipped and now wait for what they will send as a replacement. hopefully they will get this right the second time around otherwise i will return again for a refund. sorry not being able to rate the cd since i couldn't listen to it so far.
UPDATE:
it seems Amazon realized they were doing something wrong since now they changed the website for this cd and removed the song listings for the second cd. annoyingly late. good thing amazon has great customer service.
now i am curious what they are going to send me as a replacement, probably wrong again.....
Customer Rating: Summary: Rock is back!! Comment: As a lifelong Snake fan, I was both worried and excited to hear the new cd. After one listen, the worry was gone and the excitement was doubled. Coverdale and his gang know how to rock, music is fun again! I think Got What You Want is the ultimate rocker and an instant classic. Hear The Wind Blow rocks and the slower End of Time will be around for a long time. Not any filler going on here. The guitars are smokin' and if you like to have fun listening to music, run to buy this cd and you will not be disappointed!! Can't wait to see them live!
Customer Rating: Summary: not as good as it could have been Comment: This is an under-produced cd (both in terms of sound mixing and song composition). The upside is that the sound is warm and muscular. The downside is that the songs aren't as tight as the impeccably-produced ones in slip of the tongue, slide it in, and whitesnake 87. Reb Beach shines when he is given a solo spot, but he is rather out of scale with the less rigorous songs. Not bad at all but not as good as it could have been. The two new cuts in the live cd are stronger than the ones here. This line up needs a very good producer and they need John Sykes back!

The premier household name in melodic hard rock returns with a vengeance! Whitesnake is back with "Good To Be Bad", their 10th studio album and first in over a decade. This brand new album features a slew of instant-classic Whitesnake songs that are destined to stand side by side with such favorites as "Here I Go Again", "Still Of The Night" and "Fool For Your Love." Led by world-renown vocalist extraordinaire David Coverdale, "Good To Be Bad" is truly classic Whitensake, displaying that rare combination of high class and kick ass that has made them what they are today... the absolute best!
