Customer Rating: Summary: Even my wife Comment: loved this video. The music is beautiful - even if the words aren't in English and the scenery is outstanding. I especially liked the energy of the show in Rejkavik -
The whole idea of touring Iceland and playing for free in a wide variety of venues - if you can call an open field or abandoned fish processing facility a venue, was charming and clearly illustrates the bands love and respect for their country.
Don' miss this film !
Customer Rating: Summary: Buyer Beware Comment: As a Title, this 2 disc DVD is a great companion for Sigur Ros fans who have not seen live perfomances and might want to take a look at the band on their natural enviroment, the beatiful and desolates Icelandic landscapes. But don't belive the product description on the back cover because it offers subtitles for the documentary on at least six different languages, incluiding danish, spanish and portuguese, but it only has english and japanese(ironically this last one isn't mentioned). Too bad for this great band to have such inaccurate advertisement (in some countries this might be cosidered fraud).
Customer Rating: Summary: beautiful sound Comment: this is one of the best DTS 5.1 concerts iv'e heard. so clear and pure.
the video is also stunning and maybe a bluray version would be a great show off for the hdtv.
Customer Rating: Summary: Just Fantastic Comment: REceived my copy yesterday, and watched both DVD's last night. The hauntic vocals with the beautiful scenery just takes you into a different world. Cannot wait to get home and watch again. Hope Sigur Ros come to Memphis TN. Anyone getting the chance to see live, MUST!!!!! Andy
Customer Rating: Summary: Breathtaking Comment: This film captures everything beautiful about this band: their personality, their talent, their preformances, their homeland...It's all portrayed beautifully. I've never wanted to visit a place more than I now want to visit iceland.
The imagery is stunning, the preformances leave you staring, in a complete lack of words.
I couldn't recommend this more to anyone who likes this band.
