Comment: What to say, what to say... Basically, it's a 90-minute Simpsons episode. And it's done exactly the way a movie of a TV show should be done: take everything that's good about the show and make it more. There's no attempt to change it into something it's not, and no additions to try to grab a new audience. It stays true to its TV roots and audience.
The Simpsons Movie is just plain fun. And basically, if you like the show, you'll like the movie. If you don't, you won't.

Comment: Not exactly Sophie's Choice, but if you're looking for that, you're obviously in the wrong place. My family are all die-hard Simpsons fans. The movie was true to the spirit of the series. Lots of gags, both straightforward and inside jokes related to the series. If you like the Simpsons, you'll enjoy this. If you're lukewarm to the Simpsons series, you might want to skip this.

Summary: The Simpsons Movie
Comment: Im a HUGE Simpsons fan, since the first episodes, seasons 4-11 were the best .
The movie is surprisingly good, i laughed a lot in the theather and every time i watch the dvd i laugh again, just like i do in the re-runs. I thought it would be a looong episode, but it turned out better.
The DVD is cool, i loved the menus, the video quality is great. The only thing i dont like is the American Idol extras, im tired of those...
And theres no Making of Documentary...
Everything else is good.
