Customer Rating: Summary: not worth it Comment: I completely agree with the previous review. I used this razor the recommended time to allow for my skin to adjust to it. It still didn't make a difference.
You can go over the same area on your legs multiple times and you'll still have stubble. For the amount of time I spent trying to get this electric razor to work, I would have had better results and spent less time using a disposable razor.
I bought mine at Target and returned it today.
Customer Rating: Summary: Poor excuse for shaving Comment: Hoping to save money on pricey razor blades, I took a chance on this Conair shaver. I was dutiful in using only it on my legs for three weeks.
Here's what happened:
Poor shave. Didn't go to the skin, so I constantly had stubbly legs. I'd go over and over and over areas, at different angles, in an attempt to catch the strays. I don't think the head ever went all the way to the blades. I tried a variety of methods: different pressure, different way of holding the shaver, different shave creams (Conair nixes gels), dry (both after a shower, so the hair was softer and just on the fly), pivoting and locked head.
Nothing made a difference.
What DID make a difference was the hair on my legs began to become ingrown. I have scabs where the hair was yanked out. My legs itch constantly as a result.
I'm back to blades.
