Summary: Great Album, Top 10 of 2008!
Comment: Natalie Grant has seemingly risen to the ranks of Amy Grant and Rebecca St. James as a multiple female vocalist of the year winner. "Relentless" is an important album in Natalie's career as it follows up Natalie's best-selling "Awaken" and it doesn't disappoint her fans and will probably win her some new fans. I am very impressed with the opening song "I Will Not Be Moved", which resembles power pop like Kelly Clarkson and has the awesome bridge referencing Christ as our Solid Rock, such as in 1st Corinthians 10:4.

The hit song "In Better Hands" is next and it is one of the best songs I've ever heard, and the strongest track overall. The other highlights for me are "Back At My Heart", "Let Go", "Perfect People" and "Our Hope Endures", written by Christa Wells who wrote "Held". Overall, it is a great album and top 10 of 2008 in my opinion.

Summary: Fantastic!
Comment: I've enjoyed Natalie Grant on the radio for years, but this is the first album of hers I've purchased. The variety in the songs is astounding: Her range is incredible. She rocks and she worships. This album is an A++.

Summary: Natalie Grant Is Amazing. . . And This Album Proves Me Right
Comment: i first became a fan of natalie grant's the moment i heard "held", i was never able to find the cd but i moved on. then one day at wal mart i saw natalie grants face on the cover of a cd and i bought it.

the first song "i will not be moved" a stong song of never dying faith, has to be one of my favorites. another favorite song of mine is "make it matter" a soulful rock song penned by grant, husband bernie herms and christian artist matthew west. the song is basically saying that we only have one life to live and only one love to give so we need to make it matter.

if i had to choose an absolute favorite song on Relentless. . . it would have to be "safe" a very emotional and powerful song written by tiffany arbuckle lee (plumb). it is saying that there's no point in running and hiding or covering up the scars that life has left you because when you are sheltered in God, no matter what is going on around you, you are safe.

highlights of the album include the lead single "in better hands", her POWERFUL rendition of the michael english classic "in christ alone" and the sassy and soulful "so long".

natalie grant along with husband bernie herms (casting crowns), and shaun shankel (mandisa, Plumb) has crafted an amazing and well put-together album. i recomend it for everyone, but especially people who are having a bad day cuz it will make you happy again.

Summary: Just as wonderful as "Awaken"!
Comment: If you enjoyed Natalie Grant's first major album, "Awaken", there's no doubt you will enjoy this release just as much.

"Relentless" contains the right blend of pop, soul, ballad, and contemporary. Natalie's voice will have you worshipping and praising as well as smiling and dancing. While there's not an obvious power single as with her song "Held", there is not one song on this album that disappoints. Thankfully there's no attempt at changing her original style; her versatility shines through in this album and not a bit of it sounds canned.

The tracks "Make it Matter" and "So Long" have a Natasha Bedingfield feel to them (which is exciting), and "I Will Not Be Moved" and "Perfect People" offer inspiring lyrics with a pleasant rhythm and melody. All of her songs sound genuinely from the heart. The bonus track, her take on the classic hymn "In Christ Alone", is astounding.

I highly recommend this release to all fans of Christian music! If you haven't heard her "Awaken" album, be sure to pick up that one first.
