Summary: Creates a pleasant atmosphere
Comment: These aromatic stick scents are everything I hoped they'd be. They're easy to use (although potentially messy if not placed carefully) and they really do fill a small room with a pleasant -- but not overpowering -- scent.
I say a small room because these diffusers aren't up to the task of a larger space, although I imagine if I'd had two of the same scent they would have handled the job just fine. But in smaller rooms, these will do the job they're designed for without overwhelming your senses.
I first tried the holiday scents, which were great in December but wouldn't serve any other time of the year. I chose mandarin and ginger for the spring and was very pleased with the effect it had in my home. I look forward to trying these in other scents!

Summary: effective but you have to like the scent
Comment: If you're worried about the wooden ball and sticks actually sending out any perfume - don't! It's a surprisingly effective way of getting the scent out into a room and it lasts a very long time. It's been a full month and it's working well.
The catch is, you have to like the scent. None of our family particularly liked this scent which was too heavy and cloying for a room perfume, where something lighter feels more suitable. It's far more gingery than citrusy, so the Mandarin isn't really felt, but a kind of coarse ginger orange smell is. I would use the aparatus, but I would try a different oil. And once used, I don't think you could try a different fragrance, because the scent is really embedded in the wood now. So very effective, make sure you like the pefume.

Comment: The "Xela Aromasticks, Mesmerizing Mandarin Ginger," is a wonderful scent to liven up any room in your home. The aromasticks are easy and safe to use, and require no flame or burning. They are also aesthetically appealing and attractive without being ostentatious or gaudy.
The scent is a pleasant ginger aroma with a hint of mandarin orange. Just right for bedroom, bathroom, or living room. Aromasticks, in general, are not for people who are overly sensitive to scented products, so if this applies to you, then you may want to think twice about this or any scent stick. However, for everyone else, it adds a pleasing, refreshing, but not overwhelming aroma to most rooms. We have found it to be very soothing and relaxing, and have it set up in our master bedroom. If you are a fragrance person, give it a try- I think you will be glad you did!

Summary: Well-crafted product, but I didn't enjoy the scent
Comment: Bamboo-based aroma defusers are becoming increasingly popular. They allow for a more natural (less-chemically) pleasing scent while insuring a lengthy, even distribution of the aroma. In these respects, the Xela Aromasticks more than met expectations. After having the bottle and sticks out for several months, not even half of the liquid has been diffused into the air.
When the Aromasticks first arrived, my wife and I placed the device in our powder room. We realized quickly that the space was far too small for the Aromasticks and moved them to the kitchen-dining room-living room area of our townhouse. Its short life in the powder room did give us a healthy understanding of its "Mesmerizing Mandarin Ginger" scent. The scent itself is the least favorable aspect of this aroma difuser. While not smelling "chemically," the scent was far too sweet for my liking. Even my wife, who strongly suggested this scent, agreed that the sweetness of the aroma was a drawback.
Moving the Aromasticks to a much larger location predictably made the scent less overwhelming and more pleasant. Nevertheless, the sweetness of the scent does make it displeasing. However, it does an effective job in the kitchen in that it allows the smell of cooking food dominate during meal preparation, yet its aroma is dominant at other times.
In summary, the Xela Aromasticks appear to be a well-made, quality product. If you enjoy sweet scents, you will probably enjoy "Mesmerizing Mandarin Orange." This reviewer, however, found that his personal tastes did not lead to his enjoying this products particular scent.

Summary: Terrific mood enhancer
Comment: Xela's line of Aromasticks is a fantastic addition to any room in need of a subtle and pleasing mood enhancement. If you've never used products like these before you'll be comforted in knowing that setting this up literally takes seconds - you basically open up the bottle of scented oil and place the wooden sticks inside. Thats it!
If you're a fan of stimulating, citrus based scents this particular set will deliver. Like others have mentioned the product works best in smaller rooms (eg - bathrooms) or set in an area where you spend a lot of time (next to a couch or placed on a desk, etc). Also worth mention is that the Aromasticks themsleves make a very stylish addition to any room and fits right in whether placed on a bookshelf or even set on a dining table. Best of all is the fact that this product will last months on end. Just be sure to flip the sticks every few days or so for a boost in its fragrance. Also, the very attractive packaging makes for a great gift item.
