Comment: THE PRICE IS TOO DAMN HIGH.
HOWEVER HAVING ALL THE SUMMERSLAM'S
ON DVD IS WORTH IT.
VINCE WILL END UP SELLING EACH

Summary: Finally hardly any entrance themes changed
Comment: The packing maybe a little unique, but this set is the best so far. Only Ricky Steamboat and Don Muraco's music was changed. Demolition and Jive soul bro are in which makes you wonder on the other sets (Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble) why were they changed? Great set.

Summary: WWE SHOULD BE ASHAME OF THE PACKAGING OF SUMMERSLAM ANTHOLOGY
Comment: I recently purchased The Summerslam Anthology.I was excited to see the first 11 Summerslams which have never been released.When I opened it I was totally disgusted.The WWE has the nerve to charge 150.00 and up to 199.00 {BEST BUY} and the dvd,s are pushed into cardboard sleeves and when you try to take them out the discs become all scratched and ruined.The WWE could have placed each of the 20 discs in a thin line clam shell,but to save money they place them in these cardboard holders and the discs become ruined.What a shame to have a classic dvd set like Summerslam become ruined over the packaging.If you are a collector like myself I would say skip The Summerslam Anthology as all your discs will be ruined when you try and remove them.

Summary: Reminds me why I love wrestling
Comment: It would be impossible to list all the matches on this. After watching PPV's lately from both WWE and TNA which have not been any good. Watching all the wrestling from the monday night war era and the golden era in the 80's is refreshing. It reminds me what made me fall in love watching such a great show. Two thumbs up, just be careful with the packaging. Not the greatest,

Summary: Still a few kinks to work out, but overall a really good set
Comment: Ah summer, a time of baseball, barbecues, blockbusters and watching grown men in spandex pretend to fight for a belt that doesn't exist. For 20 years, Summerslam has given wrestling nerds like myself plenty of warm and fuzzy memories. Now the WWE has put the first two decades of the event on DVD for our viewing pleasure.
Obviously the content is great, with all the classic moments that have made Summerslam memorable, both good (Ultimate Warrior defeating Honky Tonk Man, Macho Man and Elizabeth's wedding, Bret Hart vs. British Bulldog) and bad (Undertaker vs. Undertaker, Diesel vs. Mabel, Steve Austin's neck injury). The footage on this set is a worthwhile addition to any fan's library.
While the content is great, the packaging is a mixed bag. The four DVD sets are housed in a cooler, complete with ice. This is a nice touch and the packaging is a vast improvement over the Royal Rumble boxset, which was pretty to look at, but very fragile and unwieldy. The problem with the packaging is the slipcases that the DVDs come in. I agree with the previous poster that they aren't the best way to house the individual discs. What WWE needs to do is combine the portability and functionality of the outer case with the DVD digipacks of the WrestleMania boxset. If they do this then the WWE will finally have the perfect boxset. Hopefully they will finally get it right with the Survivor Series set.
