The cord is long enough to plug behind your bed, that way if you utilize your cell as an alarm, its good to go. Plug is not too bulky so your nightstand stays more or less flush to the wall. Also, I think the shipping for two chargers should not have been double the cost of shipping one charger. They shipped in the same box.
