Customer Rating: Summary: Terrible Comment: I bought this for mom and listened to a little bit of it, because that was all I could take. This is boy band material, they can sing, and may have talent. It is just being used in the wrong way. . It is to say the least cheese. It's the Irish making money off of (Irish)Americans with tacky taste, just like Riverdance and Celtic Women.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great CD Comment: This is a great CD if you like the this kind of music you should seriously consider the purchase of this CD.
Customer Rating: Summary: celtic thunder Comment: Fabulous, magnificent... no, it is more than that if there is a word that is better than fabulous and magnificent.Awesome talent..Time for another CD!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: ok. Comment: not exactly what I was hoping for. Certainly did not expect remakes of teenage bop from the 70's billed as celtic music.
Customer Rating: Summary: nearly as good as the show Comment: i'd hoped that the cd would contain all of the songs from the dvd and was a bit disappointed that several were missing, but those that WERE there still made the cd worth the cost -- i recommend it rather highly, it's a gem worth sharing

For Celtic Thunder, Sharon Browne has teamed up with Grammy-nominated Irish songwriting and composing veteran Phil Coulter to produce a show that includes an eclectic mix of songs ranging from the traditional "Mountains of Mourne" and "Come By the Hills" to international hits such as "Brothers in Arms" and "Desperado," as well as original compositions by Coulter, who has written hits for Elvis Presley ("My Boy") and the Bay City Rollers, and performed with Van Morrison, Tom Jones, and the Rolling Stones. The ensemble numbers in Celtic Thunder reflect the power of the vocalists, who range in age from 14 to 40, and feature songs that celebrate a common Celtic heritage.
