Summary: Inconsistent effects
Comment: I suspect the manufacturing of this product is not very well monitored so that the capsules are inconsistent in ingredients/proportions. Some times I get hyper and jittery for hours after taking one capsule. Other times I get no such effect even when I add a caffeinated item to my diet. I don't like the jittery feeling at all and I haven't taken the capsules long enough to see whether my weight is really going down or just fluctuating with water weight. They do seem to suppress appetite, with or without the jitteryness.

Comment: Someone once said there is a sucker born every minute. If I had a nickel for every dollar I have spent on diet products I could retire and take a cruise every month. However I still remain an optimist and pray that the next one will be the magic pill. My hats off to their ad campaign people. They are slick. Take my advice and don't buy into it.

Summary: A REALISTIC Nuphedrine review
Comment: I received, and started using, this product on 24 July 08. As of 29 July, I have lost 2.8 pounds. (Results not typical I am sure since I went from complete stagnancy to up & moving every day)
This stuff is quite incredible. I take one pill, with 16 ounces of water, ½ hour before breakfast then another, with 16 ounces of water, around 2PM... which is about 1-2 hours AFTER I eat lunch. I have found my appetite to be quite decreased and my craving for sweets is almost non-existent. I have had NO headaches, NO jitters, NO shakes.... No negative side effects.
I would suggest someone who is caffeine sensitive to be very careful when starting out using this product. Before, I would only have a single cup of caffeinated coffee in the morning, so these pills took a few days to get used to. Now, I no longer even drink the one cup of coffee!
If, like me, you are a nighttime `aggressive' eater, you may want to supplement the Nuphedrine with a 500 - 750 mg Hoodia pill in the evenings, possibly around 7PM. You definitely do not want to take another Nuphedrine pill because of the massive amount of energy it supplies. The appetite suppressant in the pill lasts about 5-6 hours, while the energy it provides carries me up until 10-midnight.
For me, the product works. For others, it might not. I was already a 100 ounce a day water drinker, and followed a good eating plan. However, I could not escape the sweets cravings, the nighttime cravings and, because of my illness (CFS and Fibromyalgia), the complete lack of energy to do anything. Nuphedrine has helped my cravings and has provided me with the energy I need to get up and move.
As another poster said, this is no magic bullet. There aren't any out there! This will not make you lose 14 pounds in 7 days or make you skinny overnight. If that is what you're looking for, don't spend your money here. However, if you need a `little something' to help with appetite reduction and energy increase, this pill is for you.
YOU need to reduce your calorie intake and YOU need to get up and moving... but this pill will assist you with both.

Comment: Nuphedrine REALLY upset my stomach. I felt nauseous and did not like the sensation at all. Dosage is twice daily, 1/2 hour before breakfast and lunch on an empty stomach. Unfortunately, I have a full bottle now with no way to return it.
