You devil. :)
For me, they all reflect God's name, as I see oneness with everything.
God has many names, but one address.

God has many names. " I am who am!" "the alpha and the omega!" Jesus called him "Father".

The only difference between Jews, Christians , and Muslims...is the spelling.
We all have a thirst for the same thing.
We all have the same destination.
We only differ on the road chosen.

I voted on the choice closest to my feelings on God's name. But i really believe that His most ancient of names is Elohim.

Not really logically possible, since one of those said he was the only choice possible --- I Am The Way...No one except Me..."
Either he is correct, meaning the others are incorrect.
OR He is incorrect, meaning he was insane, and clearly not correct.

Incidentally, I think his real name is unknown, the Jews used YHWH because any name would have been too lowly to use, and the Xians changed YHWH to Jehovah.
Whatever his name is, when he decided to show his face, he picked the body of a young jew from nazareth.

In my belief...you'll see God in the mirror.
Everyday.

That's fine.
But then your other post,
the one that says,
The only difference between Jews, Christians , and Muslims...is the spelling.
We all have a thirst for the same thing.
We all have the same destination.
We only differ on the road chosen.
Must be incorrect.
Jesus Christ being the only way,
cannot be both correct and incorrect.
JC says, "You gotta choose."
Bob Dylan says, "You gotta serve somebody."

Didn't God call himself, 'I am'?

I am not a Christian. I'm more intuned to eastern paths to God.
Jesus points a path. It does not belong to Christians alone. It is open to all.
Do you think God loves Buddist's any less ?
He gives us the path to which we are best suited to walk. It has nothing to do with one OR the other.
All, who are worthy, will find God. What road to travel to find him, is according to your ability to understand.

xenon --- you're sorta missing the point.
Jesus says he's the ONLY path.
Either he's right or he's wrong.
But he can't be both, and if he's right, then any other path is not equally good.

And if he's wrong,
Well then any path is not equally good either, since his is wrong.

questionable; Yahweh was another name used around the same time to describe God; the difference was whether you were in the southern or northern kingdom after the split following the death of solomon.
God has had several names; i voted for Jesus because that was the name of the human incarnation. in reality, however, to try to assign GOD something so limiting as a name that can be pronounced by human toungues is not only a little silly, it's a little pointless;):)

I usually don't use that name...I usually address Him with the title of Father...because that is what He is...the Father of our spirits.
As far as Jesus...I have issues with trinitarian doctrines, which I might add are not espoused in the bible (depending on which translations you are using...for me KJ) But that could be another subject for another post.
The simple truth is... people on the earth have used many names for the Almighty. Some people use one... others call Him something totally different. Believe and faith is what is crutial.

someone's been reading his comics lately;)
as for the "one of many paths" bit; it's all very nice and no doubt lets' you feel magnimonious, but the problem is that that option is not open when dealing with Jesus. quite clearly He stated that he was THE way to God, not "One Of The Ways" or perhaps "One Path Which Is Just As Good As Any Other Path, but THE Way. We're talking about a guy who claimed to be the Son of God, here. either He is lying, and therefore is somewhat uncredible, or he is insane, and therefore entirely uncredible; or he is telling the truth; in which case this "there are many paths to God" stuff is bunk.
geez, i thought gnosticism had been dealt with;)
